Sitting in Colorado

One of the big advantages of being the Cobia Product Evangelist is that I get to work from home more often than not.  If my wife needs to go to the grocery store, I'm there to watch the kids for a little while and when it's time for swim lessons, I can work from poolside thanks to my Moto Q.  All in all, it's a pretty sweet gig if you can get it.

But working from home is also one of the biggest disadvantages of the job in that I don't see nearly as much of the development team and my co-workers as I'd like.  Teleconferences are great and make working from home possible, but the difference between sitting with your coworkers and talking to them over the phone is considerable.  This is why I make it a point to spend as much time as possible in headquarters talking to people face to face.
